Vice President
Aysha is a Health, Society & Policy major at the University of Utah on the pre-med track and a certified EMT with hands-on training in patient assessment, trauma care, and emergency response. Her background spans quantum sensing research, youth mentorship with foster and refugee communities, and bilingual (English/Farsi) family communication. She’s passionate about creating moments of joy, comfort, and normalcy for children facing medical challenges, and she brings both clinical insight and heartfelt advocacy to KausePlay.

Treasurer
Mahmood is an IT Staff Auditor at Zions Bancorporation, currently pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity at Brown University. With a background in financial controls, risk management, and systems oversight, he brings accountability and transparency to KausePlay’s finances. He’s also co-founder of Moms Who Code, a community program teaching digital literacy, and has volunteered supporting refugee digital-literacy initiatives, drawing on the same spirit of service that drives KausePlay’s mission.

Secretary
An entry-level EMT and pre-medical student with hands-on training in patient assessment, trauma and medical emergencies, airway management, BLS, and vital signs. Nour brings patient-centered experience through hospice care, physician shadowing, and immunology research, and is committed to using organizational skills and a service-focused perspective to help advance KausePlay’s mission and strengthen its impact.

Director of Programs and Events
Brackstyn is a University of Utah student majoring in political science and environmental science. He currently works as a youth coach with the University of Utah’s First Star Academy program and has past experience with South Jordan City recreation programs, the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium, and the Riverton City Youth Council, where he helped launch a youth court initiative. Outside of work, Brackstyn is a photographer with a focus on wildlife and portraits. He’s excited to bring his background in community building and youth leadership to KausePlay.

Director of Safety
Tyler is a 2027 University of Utah graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a French minor. He has research and clinical experience at the U of U Orthopaedic Center and Huntsman Cancer Institute, studying hematopoietic malignancies, and holds volunteer-coordinating and campus leadership roles. Tyler is passionate about fostering safe, effective, and compassionate environments for both patients and healthcare teams.

Director of Community and Sponsorships
Surigha is a University of Utah student studying Biology, Environmental and Sustainability Studies, and Chemistry, with a particular interest in the intersection of biology, environmental sustainability, and human well-being. Outside of school, she enjoys gaming, exploring new places, and learning languages.
